American and whiz pizza wit???

Come on man, chime in here! Yesterday at Pat's I witnessed a woman ordering a cheese steak (wit) and asking for both American and whiz. This is unprecedented!

I have been ordering a "pizza wit" for the last five years and a "pizza with" for the five years before that. I have NEVER once deviated. Now, however, I am contemplating a pizza steak featuring fried onions, whiz and american. This is huge! I'm not even sure how to order it properly. Is it "American and whiz pizza wit?" Or "Pizza wit wit American and whiz?" I need your input.

Besides the minimum of 3 months that it would take off your life, that's very intriguing. I don't know what I'd do with that. I mean American AND Whiz. Is it worth the trip to Philadelphia this weekend just to try it? Could it possibly improve on an already perfect sandwich? (I'm salivating at this point.)

After seeing "Portabello Mushroom Philly Style Sandwich" on the cafeteria menu for this week, I thought all was lost. In reality, the only person who eats Portabellos in Philly is, well, you. But there is hope again.

I have deviated from the Pizza steak. When I get a second steak, it is usually just a cheez wit. I also go with just cheese when I bring them on the plane. But now, there's a whole new dimension.

If you can wait, we should set a date for such a momentous occasion. It needs to be done. A nice steak and Phillies game in the middle of summer. I'm going to make it happen.

In the mean time, we need to start a letter writing campaign to get the skinny fries back. I know that fries that you're talking about. They went to them once before many years ago. They're not good, and certainly not the best fries ever.
