McG is not only a forefather but he is the president of the the National Cheesesteak Society and the organizer of National Cheesesteak Thursday. McG is currently retired and living in Cambridge, MA.

"NCT is a very special day in my life. As a world we needed a day that paid homage to the wondrous creation that is the Cheesesteak. I mean they are just so damn good, especially with some hot peppers fired up in them. Damn! Wash it down with some high life. Now you're talkin'. Somedays I think of Cheesesteaks all the time."
